David Pilling has recently updated his legendary SparkFS application with a minor bugfix.

For the uninitiated (where have you been!), SparkFS is the ultimate RISC OS [4] archiving / dearchiving application which provides a Filing system like interface to compressed archives such as Zip and Tar. The application is, however, commercial and therefore the upgrade is only available to users who've already bought the previous version(s).

This minor update sees the removal of a possible zip file corruption in rare circumstances, but all the same is worth grabbing if you're a user of the excellent application.

If you don't already have SparkFS, this should be on your shopping / wish list for Christmas!

For more information, go to:

From which you can either purchase the software or get the latest upgrade if you're an existing user.

Thanks David.
