announcements [2]
Acorn User and Acorn Publisher have been (partially) merged under the name Qercus [3]. We have to use just the one name in order to ensure its distribution, and availability, throughout newsagents in the UK.

Subscriptions will continue to be available for what was Acorn User:

Order Qercus (all issues) from Finnybank Ltd 30 Finnybank Rd Sale M33 6LR or ring 0161 969 9820
Subscriptions will continue to be available for what was Acorn Publisher:

Order Qercus [4] (graphics & design issues) from Finnybank Ltd 30 Finnybank Rd Sale M33 6LR or ring 0161 969 9820

Current Acorn Publisher subscribers may want to upgrade to the full 13 issues a year. The extra issues will contain articles and news about the whole range of RISC OS [5] computing except those areas covered by the AP (graphics & design) issues of Qercus.

To upgrade you will need to contact us by telephone or e-mail as the cost of the upgrade offer depends on the number of issues left in the subscription.

There will be two options:

Make an additional payment to upgrade to a 13 issue subscription starting January, or collapse the current subscription bringing forward the renewal date.

Ring 0161-969-9820 or e-mail upgrade@qercus.com

If Acorn Publisher subscribers don't want to opt in to the full 13 issue Qercus they will continue to get the 6 issues of AP-style magazines that they subscribed for + a free annual special magazine if their subscription continues to the end of 2004.

NB Cheques should be made payable to Finnybank Ltd
