applications [3]
I've recently been updating my background control application to include some new features and also made it a little more compliant with RISC OS [4] style conventions.
BgrnCtrl is designed to randomly display a backdrop on the RISC OS [5] Pinboard at configurable intervals. To achieve this, the user configures a list of pictures to choose from and the time interval between changes.

The application now supports drag and drop loading of files into it's list as well as removal of individual pictures without the need to edit the configuration file manualy (as previously required). The features available are documented in the application's help file and minor updates are still in progress, so keep an eye on my web site.

BgrndCtrl can be downloaded from my RISC OS software page [6].

For those interested, the application was originally written as an excercise in programming using the Toolbox modules from BASIC.
