After André's email to inform us of some updated software, I thought it was time that I announced my own little application (!BgrndCtrl).
This application is really simple and I originally wrote it as an excercise using the toolbox modules, to try and learn more about them.
Up until this point, I've not really publicised it much, as it's not a really pollished product and has some way to go before it becomes exactly what I'd like it to be. However, it does work and I've updated it a little recently to make it more useful, so I thought I'd let people know it's out there and then they can make up their own mind about whether or not it's worth using.
The application can be found on my software page [3] and is freeware for anyone who'd like to use it.
I've tried this on RISC OS [4] 3.7 and 4.02 and would be interested to hear if anyone tries it on other versions of RISC OS (especially newer versions).
