Paul will be demonstrating and talking about sound software for RiscStation's RISC OS [4] computers, and says this should mean "some fun stuff to show". This may also be a useful opportunity to get the latest updates on how other aspects of the RiscStation laptop project are going.
As always, there should be the chance to talk about RISC OS matters more generally, or to seek help with any problems you're having with your own
RISC OS setup. You can of course bring in your computer(s) for our team of experts to look at any issues (letting us know in advance could be
useful for this).
RONWUG members should be at the venue from around 6:45pm, and probably until around 10pm (but you can arrive and leave whenever you like). Tea
and coffee (and possibly biscuits) should be available at the venue, and fast food shops and an off license are nearby. As is usual with RONWUG meetings, admittance is free, and everyone is welcome.
The venue is just a few hundred yards from M60 J7, with plentiful free parking right outside, and easy ground floor access. It is on the bus
route from Manchester city centre, and is also about fifteen to twenty minutes walk from Dane Road Metro station. A map can be found at The group website [5].
