According to the BAUG (prn. "borg") archives, the inaugural meeting happened on 23rd February 1982 in a house in Bottisham. The three founding members had had their BBC Micros on order since September 1981, and they didn't arrive until April 1982! Unless you know otherwise, this makes BAUG the oldest Acorn User Group in the world.
BAUG will be officially celebrating their 20th birthday at their AGM to take place in April - exactly twenty years after the first member received an Acorn.
