    Just a couple of quick notes about Netscape's (4.77) treatment of the site.

    1) The IM box fills the screen & can't be resized and;

    2) Netscape hangs for 15-60 seconds when changing pages - this is probably an issue with Netscape's PHP interpretation though.

    3) You should give an indication of the character limit on the personal wassit bar too, I managed to kill Netscape's page rendering by unknowingly writing a malformed link - it got chopped in half.

    Still it looks nice, sparse in places, but nice

    I'd give you an opinion on the look of the site from WebsterXL, but it refused to visit websites months back & haven't gotten around to hitting it with the big reinstall stick yet.

    Al - forming logo ideas

    Netscape is broken! Complain to netscape <BR> <BR>Netscape (or any other browser for that matter) doesn't interpret PHP. PHP is a server side language so the browser only ever sees HTML output. What's probably happening is that the Netscape browser is getting stuck with rendering all the nested tables that the pages output. There is nothing to change with MyRISCOS here (try some of the other themes that are less table intensive) again contact netscape! <BR> <BR>As regards the personal wassit page - netscape is very particular about tables and the matching of tags - you should be able to experiment with it by editing the personal menu (in one browser window - so the right hand side is removed) and then opening the home page in another browser window to check your results. Failing that steer clear of HTML in the personal menu <BR> <BR>I know My RISC OS is a big empty warehouse at present but as more visitors arrive and have things to say, the more it will fill with news and articles. It's only been open for business for a little over a week so is doing OK. Want to fill it, then write articles or news items - you know you want to <BR> <BR><font size=1>[ This message was edited by: MyRISCOS on 2001-08-25 17:09 ]</font>
