Q.
Can you read Adobe PDF documents on RISC OS?

A.
There is a free reader program called !PDF which can read PDFs under RISC OS. It can also save out the information in other formats.

Any one want to talk about the other programs, Riscript and Ghostscript?

Hi

As mentioned !PDF exists and can be found at http://www.pdf.iconbar.com and is a very handy little viewer with the useful feature of allowing export in text and drawfile formats.

Ghostscript (www.acornusers.org/ghostscript/), with Martin Wurthner's GView, can be used to view Postscript files. Since Ghostscript can convert pdf files to postscript and vice versa, this could be used (though not as easily) to view pdf files. As a freeware pdf authoring and viewing package, !PDF and Ghostscript are essential.

!RiScript is a commercial product with the best features of both Ghostscript and !PDF. It allows both the creation of PDF files in a more user-friendly way than Ghostscript. It is also somewhat quicker at page rendering than !PDF. You do however have to pay for it (see http://www.cerilica.com).

bye
