Adrian Lees ceased development of Cino many months ago as the current hardware did not allow Cino to run at a good enough speed.

So, instead of letting Cino gather dust on his hard disc, he has freely released it on his website. It is far from ready but it's the closest we're going to get for a RISC OS DVD player for quite a while!

You can download it from: http://adrian.aemulor.com/

RISC OS Limited have announced RISC OS 6, it will soon be available to Select scheme subscibers.

RISC OS Six is built from a completely 26 bit / 32 bit neutral source, and the move away from the RISC OS 4 brand is because "RISC OS 4 has always been linked with 26 bit computers". I am pleased to announced the launch of a new web portal to support and enhance the RISC OS community.

The portal is named RONews and is aimed at keeping RISC OS users up to date with the goings on in the RISC OS world.

We also do recommend you check other portals such as Drobe, MyRISCOS, PlanetRISCOS and a whole host of others as we might have missed a bit of news or don't have time to write about it.

The site will soon have a downloads section with all of the latest free software available from here.
