Information: Roll up, roll up and get signed up to them thar ports!

Saturday, June 29, 2002 - 04:40 PM, (2594 Reads)

Peter Naulls has opened up his port scheme which for a minute 25 quid for 6 months enables you to get a pile of RISC OS ports, with support, of some really good software.

For more details, have a look Peter's website

The page is very comprehensive on what the scheme intends to deliver in the way of new RISC OS software and developments the money will provide for.

The only question is why Peter has chosen to use PayPal after all of the negative press it has had (from the likes of AboutPayPal, PayPalWarning and PayPalSuit). Personally, after reading the above (esp. paypalwarning), I'd advice people to sign up and pay by cheque - at least Peter is assured of getting the money!

Dunno what you're flapping about PayPal. Everyone's paranoid these days. Weird. You don't mind giving out your credit card details to some Mr Nobody over the phone, but don't like using a fully traceable tracked system like Pay Pal? So odd.

Paradise has been using PayPal for payment for several years and has had no problems with it at all. It's fast, convenient and easy to use.

Quit the paranoia and get your Unix ports! :-)
