I understand that David Atkins and the OMEGA are likely to make an appearance at the next meeting of the Wakefield Group, scheduled Wednesday 7th November. For those able to attend how about a report.

Is Omega Here? 5819 Reads questions
I have just been on Microdigital's revamped website

The Omega is described in the same vein as a Mico.

Does this mean that the Omega is now a sale-able product? If so perhaps they will be at the Birmingham show :-)

There have been several new entries to the My RISC OS logo competition.

Alex Buchanan has submitted a collection of draw files and an entry has been received from Harmsy.

    Note: More entries!!

    • Heard a term that relates to RISC OS but you're not sure what it means?
    • Used a RISC OS term and had to explain it to someone else?
    • Invented a RISC OS term and want to give the definitive explanation?

Then submit your terms/comments/interpretations with this article and we'll see how far it grows.

Does anyone know if there is a RISC OS utility which can record the desktop screens in realtime and save as a sprite file (with multiple frames) or as an animated gif or Replay file etc.

I would like to be able to record activity in the desktop and then replay as a movie or animation. I would need this to include mouse movement / pointer too.

If there is no such utility, does anyone fancy writing one?

My RISC OS needs a logo, it's well overdue!

Here's the chance for you to get involved. The first submission is included here, thanks Ronny.

We'd like you to comment and submit your own efforts. The winning logo will be used as the main logo for the default theme, other logos may be used in other themes (so there can be many winners!).

What's the prize? Oh you mean apart form the smug satisfaction that you won and can gloat for years to come? Well, a mention on the site!

The logos will probably also be used for link banners for use on your own sites.

The Downloads section is up and running, it has some 'get started' categories so now just needs populating with your favourite download links.

The downloads system allows you to rate the downloads, write reviews of the items and also report broken links to help make this one of the most versatile and useful resources for your RISC OS downloads.
