    Articles: MUG Show News

    Sunday, December 06, 2009 - 05:22 PM, (1591 Reads)

Yesterday's MUG RISC OS Show went off without very much of a fanfare and there's not been too much news about the show but we do have a little bit of news for you...
RISCOS Ltd. were previewing their latest RISC OS 6.20, Select 6 offering. It's looking pretty good according to what we saw and the people we've spoken to, but exact details are thin on the ground as yet. We don't have a full feature list, so we don't want to report on incomplete information. More later when details are clearer.

R-Comp announced just prior to the show that they've enhanced their PDF Suite package and this includes the new PostScript 3 driver produced by Martin Würthner and John Tytgat. This update was available at the show.

Qercus readers not at the show should probably now have the latest issue (292) of the magazine, whilst those at the show could see it and talk to the editor about all things RISC OS and Meccano (see the magazine for details).

Advantage 6 were present, demonstrating and selling their Vpod graphics upgrade for Risc PCs as well as Unipods and other bits.

Many of the usual suspects were present but we don't have any specific news to report on them. These included:

CJEMicros, MW Software, RISC OS Open Ltd, NetSurf, Steve Fryatt, Drag n Drop, Archive.
