News: CTA Direct / RiscStation Destroyed by fire

It has only recently come to our attention, that back in June, RISC OS dealer CTA Direct's (aka RiscStation) shop was destroyed by fire.
Details this long after the event are hard to come by, but it appears that the blaze was initiated deliberately by a fire-bomber early on the morning of 22nd June 2008.
Reported at the time by WiganToday, it seems that the person responsible was caught on CCTV, thowing a firebomb device through a rear window of the shop.
From reports it can be reasonably expected that any Acorn or RISC OS related stock in the store was probably destroyed. CTA was one of those places where you could obtain otherwise unavailable software and hardware as well as advice and repairs for RISC OS machines.

Thiis is truely sad news, Kathy used to work with Roy in Tylsley in 1999.
Hopefully Roy and his family are all ok.

Thats incredible... my worst nightmare for the places I do online backups. Luckily, it seems that nobody was hurt. Alert one life alerts should also be used in conjunction with fire alarms.
