Articles: New Version of !SICK (Diagnostic tool) released

Sunday, December 04, 2005 - 12:18 PM, (5326 Reads)

Matthias Seifert has just announced the latest release (1.26) of his System Information and Configuration Kit tool (SICK). !SICK is a useful tool which probes the hardware, reads various system information and performs several benchmark tests on the system, before outputting a text file containg the results.

Due to the complexity of the program, there is not a version which takes the Iyonix or A9 computers into account at this point in time, as this requires detailed knowledge about and access to the hardware for development and testing.

Matthias strongly encourages users of the tool to send him the output file from their machine. His email address is in the !Help file supplied with !SICK.

The program can be downloaded from Matthias' web site.
