Press Release: RiScript upgraded

Wednesday, May 15, 2002 - 10:57 PM, (1280 Reads)

RiScript's development continues to progress well with the recent major release of version 4.15. Available now as an on-line upgrade to all existing customers, the version brings even more powerful PDF reading capabilities such as handling of CIE colour models and Euro symbol support. RiScript now also automatically embeds any Type1 font data that may already be present for more accurate document text (features such as hinting will be preserved).

RiScript customers may download the upgrade at their own convenience via the Cerilica on-line upgrade area RiScript is RISC OS' premier PDF, PostScript and EPS interpreter as well as PDF generator. It allows users to view PDF and PostScript files from any source, such as the standard RISC OS printer driver, and base PDF documents on these. Its simplicity in use has been very well received by the numerous customers to date and with features such as comprehensive Drawfile and text export and printing options, brings many document transfer and interchange possibilities. If you wish to transfer documents to and from alternative systems such as PCs and Macs, with all components intact such as text, graphics and fonts, this is the product to do it with.

RiScript is supplied with a comprehensive printed manual, application and support disc in case and is available for only 59.00ukp.
