RISC OS Ltd. have announced on their Select website that the First Select CD Shipment is being prepared and is expected to be sent to customers at the end of april.
According to the news item on riscos.org new features will include:
- DHCP Support (yay!)
- Multi-user login
- Comprehensive multi-tasking Acorn Replay
- Preview of the new !Printers
- Preview of !OmniClient with Appletalk support
...although, I must admit I'm at a loss as to where it got this info, as I can find no mention of most of them on the website.
A pre-release version of the latest ROM image is available for download from the Select site.

I doubt that we will see anything at the end of April at all.

The version of select they are going to put on the CD (4.28) doesn't allow you to load the 32bit Shared C library.
Effectively preventing some newver applications from running (i.e. those requiring the 32 bit library)
