Following contact with VirtualAcorn, they have given this response to the article:
We at VirtualAcorn are still unclear as to why Mr Middleton keeps making comments that suggest VirtualAcorn is not "legal". The copy of RISC OS 3.11, and other files provided, are distributed with the permission of Pace Microtechnology who own the rights to RISC OS.
