Again from the Viewfinder mailing list...
Existing Viewfinder users can now upgrade to an ATI XPert 2000 Pro AGP card.
Details are on the Viewfinder support
page of the Windfall Engineering website
On the main page, under 'Product support', click 'Viewfinder'.
Software versions 1.40 onwards support the ATI XPert 2000 Pro AGP card. Version 1.40 does not contain updates relevant to existing cards with an XPert 98 fitted.
Viewfinders fitted with an XPert 98 cost 295 Euro (as before), while Viewfinders fitted with an XPert 2000 Pro cost 360 Euro.
Upgrades from XPert 98 to XPert 2000 Pro are available for 80 Euro.
Prospective upgraders may be pleased to know that with the XPert 2000 Pro the following resolutions are within reach (given a monitor that can display them) :
1600 x 1200 x 16,256,32K,16M colours, 91 Hz
1920 x 1440 x 16,256,32K,16M colours, 74 Hz
2048 x 1536 x 16,256,32K colours, 72 Hz
2048 x 1536 x 16M colours, 67 Hz
